Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor

NAZA, a documentary by Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor examining civilian killings in Gaza through testimony from Israeli military and intelligence insiders, has sparked intense controversy in Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused the film of smearing Israeli soldiers and has pushed legislation that could strip citizenship from Israelis who do so, while Culture Minister Miki Zohar has accused the filmmakers of treason. Israel’s military chief Eyal Zamir has also denounced the film and ordered an examination of possible legal action related to the anonymous military sources who participated.
